Parks Master Plan

On January 20th, 2020 Council approved the Parks and Recreation Department to go into a contract with consulting company Burditt Consulting LLC out of Conroe to develop a comprehensive Parks Master Plan.

On February 17th, 2020 Council approved a contract between the City of Jersey Village and Burditt Consulting LLC to begin the Parks Master Planning process.

A Parks Master Plan is essential to any parks and recreation department as a guiding document for development and use of park land. The Parks Master Plan will guide the improvement of current park land, the possible acquisition of new park land, and how we can create programs and events tailored around our community.

The entire process of creating this master plan will be a 6-month long process that will heavily involve community input through townhall meetings, surveys, workshops, and other public forums.

Stay tuned here and through other city media to keep updated on information as it arises pertaining to this master plan.
