Household Waste/Recycling Services

Solid waste and recycling services are provided to City residents through tax revenues. The City currently contracts with GFL for solid waste and recycling services. Solid waste pick-up days are on Tuesday and Friday; recycling is picked-up on Wednesday. Please have waste/recycling ready for collection no later than 7:00 a.m. Homeowners must provide their own waste cans which are available for purchase at most home improvement stores.

The following holidays do not have pick up service. If a pick-up day falls on a holiday, service will roll over to the next scheduled pick-up day.

Household Hazardous Waste
The City does not collect House Hold Hazardous Waste, such as paint, CFL Light bulbs, etc. Jersey Village Residents can use the county collection site at 6900 Hahl Road to dispose of those types of items. More information can be found here.
