DIVISIONS

Streets: The streets division oversees street panel, curb and sidewalk issues, street sweeping, stormwater drainage and infrastructure. 

Utilities: This division oversees all water system components including water supply, storage, distribution, and wastewater treatment. 

Project Management: The project manager oversees street reconstruction projects as well as major Public Works improvement projects. 

Fleet: Fleet related inquiries can be directed to the Department Manager.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Street sweeping: Street sweeping is typically performed daily Monday through Thursday. The City is split into 4 zones with one zone being swept per day. For best results, we kindly ask residents to park vehicles off the street on their designated sweeping day whenever possible. Depending on seasonal leaf debris volume, the sweeper may operate more frequently or less frequently as required.

Zone 1 (Monday) - Streets between Senate Ave and Argentina Street; streets between Jersey Drive and Honolulu Street; Kube, Kari, Kevindale and Epernay.

Zone 2 (Tuesday) - Streets between Senate Ave and Equador Street; Lakeview, Congo, Singapore and Seattle Street. 

Zone 3 (Wednesday) - Streets between Senate Ave and Rio Grande; Village Drive and Village Green.

Zone 4 (Thursday) - Streets in the Wyndham Village and Wyndham Lakes neighborhoods; Seattle Slew, Pleasant Colony, Ruffian, and Steepleway Boulevard; Enclave at Castlebridge. 

Mosquito spraying: mosquito spraying season runs from March 1st to November 1st. Spraying typically occurs between 9:00pm and 5:00am 1x per week March - June and 2x-3x per week July - September. Mosquito Treatment FAQ's
