Following a recent traffic study conducted by Harris County at the intersection of Jones Road and Village Green Drive, adjustments have been made to improve traffic flow in the area. The study led to changes in the timing of traffic lights at Jones and Village Green, as well as nearby intersections, to help ease congestion.

In addition to these adjustments, Jersey Village city staff will be restriping Village Green Drive to accommodate two lanes of traffic at the light for right turns onto Jones Road. This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of October.

These changes are part of ongoing efforts to alleviate traffic congestion following the closure of the golf course bridge. The decision to restripe Village Green Drive was one of several ideas that garnered strong support from the community, and we are committed to implementing solutions that enhance traffic flow and safety for all residents.
