The City of Jersey Village will be accepting bids submitted online via CIVCAST
https://www.civcastusa.com/ until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, for the Australia Street & Solomon Street Reconstruction project.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the following Designated Website: https://www.civcastusa.com/ (CIVCAST). Bidders are urged to register with the Designated Website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the Designated Website. The Designated Website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents, including bid tab information will be offered only through the Designated Website.

Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the City of Jersey Village in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidder’s maximum bid price and in the form of a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price from a 
surety company licensed by the State of Texas.

The City of Jersey Village is subject to the Texas Public Information Act, a state law, which may require the City to make the information provided in response to this request for applications available to the public upon request. Therefore, responders are required to clearly mark any proprietary and/or confidential information.

The City of Jersey Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by The City of Jersey Village for a period not to exceed 30/60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.

All contractors/subcontractors whose System for Award Management (SAM.gov) registration is not active or that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.

A pre-bid meeting will be held by the City of Jersey Village in the Council Meeting Room at 16327 Lakeview, Jersey Village, Texas, 77040, at 2:00 p.m., January 22, 2025. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory.
